Pastoral Couple (Founders)

Chris and Sonia were married in 1984 and have 1 daughter and 1 granddaughter.

Chris completed his pastoral studies through the “College for Advanced Christian Education” and then continued his studies to receive a doctorate in Divinity.

In 2012, Father led him to start Christ the Way, Truth & Life Ministry (CWTLM).

It is wonderful to see how Father’s love, grace and provision continue to bless the ministry.

Chris and Sonia have a passion for the ministry and especially for marriages.

Chris also has a counseling ministry where he focuses on relationships, mental and emotional well-being and healing.

Chris was radically converted in 2006 after John 14:6 became the foundation of his faith, from which the name of the Ministry comes.

Leon en Marianne Labuschagne

Pastoral Couple

Leon and Marianne were married in 2003.

For them it is a second marriage and they are grateful to Father that He is a God of second chances.

They have a passion for people and the Word of God and are determined to investigate the depth of the Word.

Their inspiration comes from 1 Thessalonians 3:11 – 13:

But may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus Christ direct our way to you;

and may the Lord make you rich and abundant in love for one another and for all, as we are also towards you, so that He can strengthen your hearts to be blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Nick en Mari Greyling

Leaders - Men's and Women's Ministry

Nic and Mari have been married for 44 years and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Nick coordinates the men’s ministry and Mari leads the women’s ministry.

Their passion is to empower people with the truth of the Word.

Their middle child, Carine, has several special needs and is wheelchair bound. Despite her limitations, she is a wonderful example of love for Abba Father and unconditional love for people.

Ben en Tossie Burger

Leaders - Prayer Ministry

Ben and Tossie were married in September 1983 and are blessed with a son, daughter and daughter-in-law of whom they are very proud.

The path of obedience to Abba only came 20 years later.  During that time, at different times, they became acquainted with the Holy Spirit, which changed their entire life.

They have a passion for the Truth, are part of the intersession group as well as facilitators of the Prayer Warriors prayer group.

Phillip and Alrinda Mulder

Pastoral Couple (UAE)

Phillip and Alrinda were married in 2015.  This was not just an ordinary year for them, but a period of radical conversion where they dedicated their whole lives to Abba Father. In the same year, they joined the CWTLM community.

The path of obedience to Abba Father led them to the Middle East (Dubai & Al Ain) in 2016, where they currently serve as part of CWTLM to various nations around the world (Gen 12:1-4).

Phillip and Alrinda cherish a great love and passion for Abba Vader and the Word of God, and they stand steadfastly on the commandment in Matthew 22:37-40. They have a deep respect and appreciation for God’s order in marriage and the importance of family life.

In 2021, they had the privilege of becoming parents and were blessed with the birth of a son, Elias Obed.

Their focus is to serve Abba Father in Spirit and Truth, as written in John 4:24, and to restore true worship. It is their absolute privilege to serve people, just as Yeshua did during His earthly ministry.

Ian and Alida Retief

Leaders - Mossel Bay Ministry

Ian and Alida have been married for 30 years and moved to Mossel Bay from Cape Town in 2008.

They started a house church called; “The Ark” with 5 members.

In 2020, Abba put it on Alida’s heart to leave the corporate world, to work for Him and His Kingdom. After Ian was in hospital during covid he also resigned from the corporate industry, to dedicate himself to the Kingdom of God.

The home church regularly followed CWTLM’s Services and Bible Studies online. It was their desire to be part of CWTLM and were very excited when they were approached to become part of a satellite ministry, together with fellowship and praise.

Thus CWTLM Living Waters Mossel Bay was founded in February 2024.
